Retail Medical Endorsements 

Are you considering adding a medical cannabis endorsement to your retail store?  

• Please note that the application for added medical cannabis endorsement was recently updated. When you apply, the following must be included: 
• A copy of the Department of Health (DOH) certificate for the medical consultant on staff; and 
• Photo(s) of the equipment used at the location to issue recognition cards. 

As of July 1, 2016, collective gardens are no longer allowed to operate in Washington including most medical cannabis dispensaries. Only businesses licensed by LCB are allowed to sell cannabis. Unlicensed entities were required to cease operation. 

The LCB is the agency responsible for licensing and regulating cannabis. If you have questions pertaining to medical cannabis that are not licensing-related, please contact the Washington State Department of Health or the Washington State Department of Revenue.
