Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST)
Also known as a Class 12 or Class 13 Permit
- If you serve alcohol in a restaurant or bar, or you conduct tastings at a grocery store, you must take this training and get a permit.
- All managers, bartenders, and other employees who serve alcohol or supervise the sale of alcohol for on-premises consumption at a liquor-licensed location are required to get a MAST permit within the first 60 days of employment
- Anyone who conducts alcohol tastings must get their permit before they can conduct tastings.

Responsible Vendor Program (RVP)
- The RVP is a voluntary training program for spirits, beer and wine retail licensees and their employees.
- If you sell alcohol that will be taken out of your store by customers this training is for you.
