Liquor Control Board suspends liquor license of Oak Harbor establishment

OLYMPIA - The Washington State Liquor Control Board (WSLCB) has suspended the liquor license of Element of Oak Harbor for nine days following two public safety violations. The establishment, located at 656 SE Bayshore Drive, Suite 1, is not allowed to serve alcohol from 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1 to 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, 2008.

Element received a violation for "Allowing an Apparently Intoxicated Person to Possess Liquor" on July 19, 2008. The establishment received a five day suspension for this violation, and will serve it consecutively with a four day suspension that resulted from a violation Element received for Allowing Minors to Frequent/Consume Liquor on March 21, 2008.

The establishment will be able to sell non-alcohol products during the suspension.
