Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST)

Also known as a Class 12 or Class 13 Permit
  • A MAST permit is required within the first 60 days of employment for people who serve, mix, sell, and supervise the sale of alcohol for on-premises consumption.
  • Anyone who runs alcohol tastings must get their MAST permit before they run the tastings.
  • MAST classes are available online or in-person by third party, private course providers certified by the LCB.

Responsible Vendor Program (RVP)

  • The RVP is a voluntary training program for spirits, beer and wine retail licensees and their employees.
  • If you sell alcohol that will be taken out of your store by customers this training is for you.
