Ten contract liquor stores to close
For Immediate Release May 4, 2012
OLYMPIA, WASH. – As early as Saturday, May 5, 10 contract liquor stores will close permanently. These closures are at the request of the individual contract store managers.
Contract liquor stores are privately owned businesses that have an agreement to sell liquor for the state of Washington. The managers of these stores have indicated to the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) that they no longer intend to sell liquor after June 1, 2012, the first day of private liquor sales. The below list includes: contact information, closing dates, and locations for the affected stores.
