Photo Requirements for Floor Plans:
General
Photos Must Include...
Preliminary photos are helpful, however we need final photos confirming the premises matches the floor plan(s) and is ready to operate.
Photos must include the following:
- Close-up photo – about five feet away
- Medium range photo – about 15-20 feet away
- Label – for example, bar, dining room, outdoor seating, etc.

Dining Area
- Entry points
- Seating with furniture
- Beer/wine taps
- Food counter
- Alcohol storage area
- Drink prep area
- Food counter

Bar/Lounge
- Entry points into the minor-restricted area
- Barriers separating bar from other spaces (dining area, hallways, common spaces, etc.). Please submit a distance photo to show how the barrier sits in the space, and a close-up picture with a measuring device (tape measurer) to show how high it is (must be at least 42 inches high).
- Demarcations (physical or visual separations) that separate dedicated dining areas from areas classified as off-limits to minors. Please submit a distance photo to show how the demarcation defines the space, and a close-up picture with a measuring device (tape measurer) to show how the demarcation meets size requirements (pillars, posts, or planters at least six inches wide, openings no more than 10 feet apart, barriers at least 42 inches high, etc.). See WAC 314-02-025 for demarcation options and requirements.
- Photos of “Minor Prohibited” signs that show how the signs are clearly visible to customers who are approaching and inside the area(s) classified as off-limits to minors.
- Front of the bar (include stools/seats if seating at the bar)
- Back of the bar (showing taps, sink, work area, etc.)

Kitchen/Food Prep Area

Barriers/Demarcation

Photo Requirements: Cannabis
Retail and Non-Retail Applications
If you have a cannabis application in progress, your Licensing Specialist will give you details for photo requirements needed for the final inspection.
Photos requested will be for your premises, including outside and inside of a building and/or your outdoor grow space and fencing (if applicable).
