Enforcement partners close residence acting as night club

OLYMPIA – The Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB), the Thurston County Sheriff’s office and the Gambling Commission served a search warrant Dec. 11, 2016 to the owner of a residence in Tenino that was acting as a night club.

The residence, located at 3135 184th Ave. SE Tenino, contained evidence of liquor sales, had an unlicensed still and several gallons of what appeared to be distilled liquor. Several illegal gaming machines were also found and taken as evidence by the Gambling Commission. The owner of the residence was later released pending charges from the Thurston County prosecutor’s office.

The LCB’s Olympia Enforcement field office received a complaint that an unlicensed location was acting as a night club or bar. After an investigation with the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office and the Gambling Commission received a search warrant to inspect the premises.
